what do you think of parents who don’t make their kids go to school, but encourage them to learn on their own?
http://news.yahoo.com/video/health-15749655/extreme-parenting-radical-unschooling-19218933
i think it’s dumb i mean i know as a kid i would just sit around and play videro game and such all day. and they’re is no way these kids will make it to college so they are pretty much destined to fail.
what’s your opinion?
The segment was heavily edited to reflect the bias that the producers have against unschooling. They wanted it to look as radical as possible so they left out all the footage about the weekly lessons the children are enrolled in, the many educational trips the family has taken etc.
Do not judge unschooling by one tabloid style segment.
