Can I get blood drawn and tested (Vitamin D) in Canada without a requistion from GP?
I want to have my blood tested for a battery of vitamins, etc as part of a self-directed wellness project that I am pursuing in Canada. Do I need to have a req from a Canadian physician every time I want to get blood drawn and tested in Canada, even if I am going to pay for the lab services myself? I would hope that I can just approach a clinic, pay the necessary fees, and receive results without having to visit a doctors office every time.
