Wellness Kitten Food
How many ounces of wet food per day should my 3-4 month old kitten be fed?
I recently adopted a kitten and am unsure how much I should be feeding her per day. Right now she eats one can of 3oz wellness kitten wet food per day, 1/2 in morning and 1/2 at night, and seems quite content. She never cries except when I leave the house / when she hears me at the door coming home. However, I keep reading that kittens should get two 3 oz cans per day. That seems like a LOT of food to fit in her little tummy…She sleeps a lot of the day and is quite mellow for a kitten. She was this way before I adopted her (according to her foster mom) and she continues to be so with me. Maybe this is why she isn’t hungry all the time?
