Wellness Kitten Canned Food
Wellness kitten food question?
(I’m getting a kitten in a couple months…) I’ve done some research and i plan on feeding my kitten Wellness. I read that it’s best to mix both dry and wet so that’s what i plan to do. For canned food i plan to feed wellness canned kitten food but for dry i don’t know what food to use. I was thinking about using wellness kitten health cat food since that’s the only wellness kitten dry food i can find I was wondering if that was fine. ( I plan to mix 60% wet, 40% dry.) I plan on doing this until the kitten reaches age one then i plan to using wellness canned cat food and wellness dry cat food. Is this okay or is there something you would change? Thanks for your help in advance.
Wellness Kitten is a good quality food, but it does have rice in it. If I had the choice between feeding a good quality food with rice, and a good quality grain-free food, I would go with the grain-free food.
Wellness manufactures a food called CORE, which is 50% protein, low in carbs, has zero grains and is formulated for all life stages. My kitten started out on this food when I got her and she’s beautiful and athletic now.
Remember to offer a constant supply of cool, fresh water.
