Is Grain Free The Best Dog Food ?

I have been looking at the reviews on dog food.
I noticed Wellness has a grain free and Innova is grain free but they are really high in protein,the high protein is not good for dogs is it?
I am confused which is better food with grains or without, the ones with grain don’t have as much protein in them right?

I have three dogs they all eat different food. I have one on the Evo Red meat diet. She does very well on it. She is an active dog and does agility. It is very difficult to keep weight on her. The Evo allows me to not have to feed her a large quantity and still maintain her weight. If she has too much bulk she gets loose stools.
My other dogs need grain in their diet so they get quality foods with high quality grains. but meat should be the first 2-3 ingredients then the grain source. Dogs need there protein source before their grain source.
Dogs are like people they only gain weight if they are fed to much. The average food with grain contain about 250-300 kcal/cup. The all meat diets are 442kcal/cup.
That is the biggest difference.
