My cat throws up a foamy whitish clear liquid….?

I started feeding her Wellness chicken formula and 1 boiled chicken breast dialy. (2 meals a day- morning and night) About every week or so I will watch her eat grass down by our lake and then throw up what I stated above. Is this normal for cats? She does not throw up any food, just the liquid……. She is a bit small for her age because she was the runt of the litter, but the vet told me she was healthy but I could add a chicken breast in with her normal food for extra protien. I also give her a hairball remedy once a week……. does this sound any bit normal for my baby?
Kikio- He just told me I could buy the organic chicken breasts at wal-mart, and boil them. I feed half of it to her in the morning and half at night. It actually isent much after it is boiled because it draws up.

Actually it’s pretty normal after eating grass. The foamy stuff is clear or white? Not to worry unless it’s happening every day or several times a day.

One of mine was tossing this up every day all summer, the vet prescribed 1/4 tablet of Pepsid, and that worked really well with him. He has a very touchy stomach and the summer shedding would always have him heaving, even if no hair came up.

The others only throw up when eating grass or when they ate a dust bunny (don’t ask, they’re dumb that way sometimes). Sometimes if they just drank cold water and it upset their stomach with the temperature it’ll come back up within 10 minutes.

If it’s not pink (blood from an irritated stomach) or brown (bile from an empty stomach) and not happening often, it’s probably ok.

Chicken won’t do it. Dry food won’t do it (if it was the food’s fault you’d be getting compacted tootsie roll looking barf of undigested cat food coming up).

Cats barf. It’s part of being a cat owner. At least it’s not much, compared to dog barf!
