Can my 45 pound lab mix eat puppy or small dog breed food?

I have four dogs two of them belong to me and the other two belong to my grandmother and father. My mom pays for food for my lab mix hubble and the other two dogs. I also have a puppy who eats a different food from the other three dogs ( i know this is a little confusing). Now my problem is that my mom buys cheap and unhealthy dog food for the three big dogs and good food for the puppy. My puppy is a shih tzu and eats wellness just for puppy while the other dogs eat iams. I want to feed my lab the wellness just for puppy too but i don’t know if i an feed her puppy food. Puppy food is higher protein and this is neccessary for growth and bone development. One the dog becomes an adult (12 months) it does not need the extra protein so it can be switched to a food which contains less protein. If you feed your Lab the higher protein puppy food it could well become hyper and this is something you don’t need in a Labrador – they have enough energy as it is.

The puppy food has been scientifically balanced to give your puppy all the nutrients and vitamins it needs in its first year. Your lab doesn’t need puppy food now if it is over 12 months. You could maybe try the
Wellness adult food for the Lab.
