Dog food ADVICE! Wellness, California Natural and Taste of the Wild?

I currently have my 60 pound Pit bull mix on California Natural, his stomachs been getting really red and flakley so my vet recommended a grain-free formula. Does anyone know anything about Wellness or Taste of the Wild. All grain food seems to be wicked expensive. If not those two maybe someone can recommend a different brand of GRAIN-FREE dog food??

Taste of the Wild is likely to be the most affordable grain free, so if price is an issue, that’s where I would start. TOTW does have a pretty lengthy list of ingredients, though, so if the dog is allergic to a protein source rather than grains, it may not work for you. If the dog still has an issue after a couple months on TOTW, then try him out on a food that uses an unusual protein (like bison, duck, etc) instead.
