Does Planned Parenthood test for PCOS?

I only have my period once a year, and it lasts for 2-3 weeks at a time. I searched on Yahoo!Answers of what this could be and it could be Polycystic Ovary Syndrome(PCOS). So I looked PCOS up on WebMD, and found that I had 5 or 6 of the symptoms of PCOS. I currently don’t have health insurance, so I was looking into getting tests done at Planned Parenthood, but their website didn’t say they did the tests, and I tried calling my local PP center, but it was just an automated phone system. I made an appointment anyway, so I could at least get birth control to help with my periods, and also to help with PCOS if I do indeed have it, since there is no cure, only simple home treatments such as exercising and eating right.
Any help/information you may have is much appreciated.

I personally would not trust them for anything beyond birth control advice and distribution. After my experience with them, I don’t even know if I would trust them with that. I got on the pill in college, and saw a doctor every time I got a refill, every 3 months or so, and even though they took my blood pressure, they never seemed to notice that it got higher and higher every time, until I had an episode one day where it just about blew a gasket. The doc at the Primacare I went to told me it was the BC pills and they should have noticed it. I certianly would not trust them with any complicated medical problems like what you are talking about.
