Health care system in the United States?
How would you solve the for-profit nature of insurance companies with the health care delivery system you would like to see in the United States?
I would never want to stop for profit insurance companies. The not for profit medicaid and medicare systems are filled with fraud and abuse and are accountable to no one while at the same time sucking tax payers dry and providing inferior services. The NHS is a perfect example of what happens when the government runs things. People die on waiting lists and are denied treatment. Remember, medicare denies more claims and more procedures than the any other insurance company. If we insist on making health care not for profit, should we then insist that banking, food sales and production, and housing also be not for profit. If not, why not
