Ron Paul’s health care plan was laughed at (OMG, cost us a trillion dollars!), yet so many embrace Obama. why?
Ron Paul’s plan would give everyone a tax credit to buy their own plan. The premise is that with more buyers, there will be more competition and lowering of costs. And, the IRS would be the one administrating the credit. There would be no need for a 1000 page bill to pass approving Obamacare. No massive handbook telling what is covered and for how much. No new top-level federal jobs created. No new administration of another government program in another government building. And the cost could be about the same, and UNLIKE obamacare, ALL taxpayers would be eligible for lower costing health care insurance. But why isn’t a tax credit even considered?
Because Mr. Paul’s plan would work.
