Is child support payment all inclusive?
I’m writing for a family member who is getting the shaft. He pays 1200.00 a month in child support. His ex continually calls for him to pay for extras, for instance; next week is spring break, if he doesn’t pay the weeks daycare she will take the child out of town to her mothers. Which will deprive him of his visitation weekend. She doesn’t buy clothes, shoes, she expects him to pay the co-pays for health care. He pays for the insurance. She doesn’t pay for incidentals at school ie: pictures, projects, supplies. The child told him, “Mommy said we’ll get all Daddy’s money”.
This is in Texas, I need to know of somewhere it is written what is included in child support. He doesn’t mind paying for his child but the mother is taking advantage every chance she gets. Funny thing is, she has 2 teenage kids from another relationship that has never paid a nickel. Oh he has no money,,,,,
It depends upon the terms of the child support agreement. If all it says is $1200 a month, that’s all he has to pay.
