Public Health Careers Salaries

any career advice for a young 20-year old girl pleaaase!!?
Please I need some career advice! I am so confused right now and I am scared to get off track with my life here so I thought that maybe asking the public and gathering opinions will help me a bit more
I am 20 years old and turning 21 on May 6, I am still in college education but dont know if I should start off as a Dental Hygienist or Dental Assistant? The problem I have is that Im having a hard time being in college and maybe its not my type of environment, I would rather to go in some sort of Technical School and just get both my training and diploma there..
But have the salaries of a Dental Assistant recently increase or is it still the same thing? I would rather to start off as a Dental Assistant and then go to the next step as a Hygienist along the road..I think this way I can get a little more used to the Dental health environment..I dont know what to think, but I will highly value your opinions!
Thnx so much!
They have training programs for both career paths, but if you start as the Dental Assistant, it’s be more like an apprentice path for you. You start at the bottom and work your way up. Personally, I think that’s the better way because then you end up learning everything about your field.
