Need some career advice about a big move.?

Im in a pickle. I live in florida. I have a college degree in political science. I owe 26k in student loans. I work as a bellhop in a hotel and also a substitute teacher. Since I graduated 3 years ago…im still working as a bellhop!..I cant find a career down here in florida. The worst news is that I had bought a condo and have been trying to rent it out so I can move to Chicago to find a better career–preferably in public relations. Chicago is where the big firms are. The Florida job market stinks! I go to stupid job fairs that advertise for walgreens managers and H&R block.
I havent had health benefits in 7 years. Im sick of this. I am begging to move to chicago. The last tenant bailed on me. So now im debating if I want to even rent my condo to some floridian white trash. I am at wits end. I hate my bellhop job and am laughed at and I cant take it anymore. I want to quit and try to find a full time teaching. No on hiring for teaching either. I am screwed. Any advice?

Just because I have been looking into it lately, I will suggest joining the navy. Since you have a degree, you might qualify to go in straight as an officer (as opposed to enlisted). This means that you get more power, higher pay, and great benefits. I’m not trying to recruit you, I’m just saying that it is a possibility. Also, they do not get into as much danger as the army and the marines.
