Public Health Careers In Demand

The future for Teaching jobs/careers?
Hi im currently in school for Health education. id like to become a teacher and i graduate in 3 yrs. In this economy its hard for teachers to even get a job. I live in TX and they don’t require health education in public schools anymore(when child obesity/health issues is at its highest in the US:mellow:)
Anyways it worth it? What is the reality of this issue not what i hear in the new and teachers being in demand ect. With more and more online classes in public schools and even less contact with student.
i did a job search if i would have graduated now, i would very difficult to get a job. no health teachers job postings, and health educators in hospitals ect, are requiring more and more ‘nursing’ degrees because of the clinical background, yet the job description is exactly what my degree is all about!!!
Please what are your thoughts??
Teacher that are in demand are in special ed., bilingual ed., math and science. Speech pathologist and diagnosticians are good bets also.
