My topic is mental health facilities & how they’ve changed. This paper will suggest that Dorothea Dix changed America’s treatment of people with horrible mental health & their living conditions. I need help answering my research questions, they are:
1.) How did Dorothea Dix change the treatment of mental patients?
2.) How were people with mental illness treated before Dorothea Dix?
3.) How do Dorothea Dix’s changes affect mental institutions today?
Also any information you have on mental institutions/asylums please give me, thank you.
