Natural Health Vacations

Natural TTC Supplements?
Ok, so I just found out that the Clomid/Progesterone didn’t work this cycle. After a lot of talking with my DH, talking with my Dr.’s office, looking at our vacation schedule over the next couple of months, and just thinking about how this is effecting my emotional health, we have decided to take 2 months off of the perscribed meds and treatment plans from my RE. All except the Metformin for my PCOS.
So my question is, what are some natural supplements that I could take to help us TTC? I have seen people on here mention these, but I was also wondering how effective they were with anyone who has used them. I do know that, along with having PCOS, I have a short luetal phase.
Thanks for any advice!!!
You could try vitex, which is supposed to balence your hormones and strengthen the luteal phase. The only problem is that it supposedly takes 3-6 months before you see an effect. Also, you cannot take vitex with other fertility medications, because apparently they counteract one another. I’ve used a ton of herbal stuff (vitex, b6, vitamin C, OTC progesterone) for a short luteal phase and nothing worked. My personal belief is that the stuff you get from your doctor is going to be far superior to any herbal remedies. Couldn’t hurt to try though.
Good luck and lots of baby dust!!!
