Is a person more likely to think they have seen a miracle if they are uneducated?

Miracle

noun
1. an effect or extraordinary event in the physical world that surpasses all known human or natural powers and is ascribed to a supernatural cause.

2. such an effect or event manifesting or considered as a work of god.

The operative phrase is: “…that surpasses all known human or natural powers.” So, if someone knows absolutely nothing about human anatomy and physiology, and sees a loved one who is very sick go into the hospital and after a few days or weeks come out of the hospital in good health, has that person seen a ‘miracle’ because what happened in the hospital surpasses THEIR knowledge of human or natural powers. Do the ignorant see ‘miracles’ where the educated see science and technology?

Of course. Look at the point we’re at in technology now with just a few thousand years of progress. Imagine if we had another ten thousand years, and then came back to our time period and showed them some of our technology.

I imagine that in another thousand years raising the dead will be a rather simple process.
