Do you feel safe posting personal information on line?
Microsoft is heavily advertising Health Vault–a free, easy way to gather, store, and share your health information on line. They’ve got the usual privacy notice.
In a time when personal information is stolen, lost, “accidentally” discarded, I think posting personal health information on line is foolish. Insurance companies, especially, should never have access to this kind of information unless absolutely necessary as the temptation to use it against the insured is so great.
So, what do you think? Good or bad?
Absolutely not, I just don’t know who I’m dealing with online. Oh, wait! Yes I do – everybody!
