What approximate age do you think is best for a candidate for President of the United States? It seems to me?
that the early 60s would be the best. A person of that age and in good physical and mental health has experienced enough and, if they have been in politics, has seen and done enough that they might be wiser than someone a lot younger. And whatever the “younger generation” might think, experience is very important.
I think late 40′s, early 50′s is ideal. This country needs someone with new ideas. I’m not denying that experience is important. But sometimes people with TOO much experience, are too set in their ways to change things up. I can’t stand the mentality of, “We’re doing it this way because this is the way we’ve ALWAYS done it.” I don’t think we should be too caught up on someone’s age however, because there are always exceptions to the rule…
