How will the Health Care Reform bill affect coverage for people who have mental health issues?
I have a child with a mood disorder, and I’m concerned whether he will have the ability to obtain treatment if employers decide not to offer mental health as part of their employees’ health insurance package.
It should protect them.
In the future, insurance plans will not be able to discriminate against pre-existing conditions and that would apply to insurance companies as well.
