How quickly can Texas Medicaid get me approved and into a doctors office? I am currently almost 36 weeks.?
Although when I was seeing my doctor we planned for repeat csection delivery of June 1st so I would deliver in 3 weeks!! I had health coverage and after throwing away a couple thousand dollars on what I thought was the best coverage with the lowest deductible I ended up with thousands of dollars in bills from NO MATERNITY coverage with my insurance. So now I am stuck unable to go back to a doctor and surely cannot cash pay. I haven’t seen a doctor in over a month and was once told I couldnt qualify for Medicaid only to now find out I can so I applied (5-1-07) and am desperate to get to a doctor. Help!
If you have all ready applied, most doctors and midwifes will go ahead and see you…. the medicaid will pay back for 30 days before you applied….. Call around to a few doctors or midwifes, they should be able to get you in right away… Call ASAP! this is a critical time for you and your baby! GOOD LUCK!!!
