Master Of Health Science Degree Jobs
Nursing School and my Land Rover?
I currently make 45k a year. I set up a budget where I can have 15k spending money (rent, food) by the time I reach nursing school master’s degree Clinical Nurse Leadership certification and RN licensure. I have a General Health Science degree from Purdue, and the school in interested in me thus far — not accepted yet.
I will have 80k in loans after graduation from this nursing school. I think I am deciding against joining navy because they have a reserve component for their loan repayment programs and I only want active obligation and then to be completed. I also drive a land rover that has everything on it: 8000lb. warn winch, security system, remote start, gps, dvd, worth about 14,500 on C – List (probably could get 12k). This is my only car. I love the car I invested (half a year) of budgeting pay from current job into this. Should I sell this to help reduce loans before I got to school and drive a cheap car?
Thing is, you would have to buy another car, right? How much is a reliable car going to cost you? $3,000 if you’re lucky, but probably more like $5,000-$6,000. So out of that 12k, you’d get $5,000 or $6,000? That, to me, seems like a drop of water in the bucket.
