If i am a radiogapher (RT) in 2011 will I have a job?
The bls.gov says that the job is favorable but many people in the health field say that the radiology jobs are tight. Will I be able to find a job as a radiographer in Chicago,Illinois in the year 2011??
Despite what you hear, theres jobs out there. It depends on what area you are in and if you are willing to relocate. If you are in an area that has say three colleges that put out 30 Radiologic Technologists per class per year, then findind a job will be a little harder, but not impossible. Areas have uneven distribution so just keep up the search. Try to get your foot in the door early. I know where went to school, you could get a job as a Student Technologists during your last year. That helps alot, I did it at two hosptials and an Urgent Care before I graduated. I hope this helps.
