Health Science Degree
Can I get a job as a physical therapy assistant with a bachelor’s of health science degree?
Instead of heading straight to graduate school next year to get my DPT, I am considering taking some time off and getting a job so I can actually pay for graduate school. I will be receiving a Bachelor’s of Health Science in the spring and my major was Exercise Science: Pre-Physical Therapy Concentration. Apart from getting my license to be a PT Assistant, is my degree enough to get me a job as a PT Assistant?
In order to become a PTA, you must graduate from an accredited PTA program which is 2 years. You would be better off to go to PT school since that only takes 3 years since you have a BS
