What can I do about my teacher?

My core teacher will be giving me my English, math, art, health and history-geography mark. Problem is, he’s terrible. I know I’ve only been at school a few weeks but all his subjects are already my least favourite.

- Even when you are genuinely confused, he’ll scold for not being able to follow.
- He mocks his students. I don’t put my hand up very high, and he “mimicks” me, with a hunched back and everything. I don’t even look like that.
- He doesn’t take the time to write up a quiz appropriate for the time slot. He gives us “quizzes” straight from the textbook’s questions. One time, he gave us 10 minutes to do 10 very long math questions.

I don’t know what to do!

When he mimics you just say, “Why are you exaggerating and impersonating me when I choose to participate in class?” If he ends up trying to defend himself (which is likely and not good) just say you would like to be excused to the office. Tell them what the teacher is doing and it makes you not want to participate in class and list the other things he does wrong. Bring your quizzes with you to the teacher to show what type of quiz you had to do in 10minutes so they can see the math difficulty partnered with the time frame given.
