Health Lessons For Elementary Schools

I need five questions answered by a teacher, preferrably elementary, for an assignment that is due tonight.?
1) What are some examples of typical, quick decisions teachers make on a daily basis?
2) What were the 5 most difficult school-related decisions you made this week? What made them difficult?
3) What was the impact of those decisions on the classroom environment? Were the decisions effective?
4) Almost every classroom has a disruptive student, whether it be an act for attention or a health issue. How would you handle the situation without excluding the student from the classroom?
5) What are some activities you might incorporate into a daily lesson to make the learning environment a fun experience?
1. If a lesson is not going the way you thought it would I would have to quickly move it into another direction a come up with another way to teach right off the top of my head. Another quick decision is if I have a meeting with out notice I would have to come up activities quickly to fill the time with a sub…
2. ok number 1 …should I send this child home because he is out of uniform..it was difficult because he is 5 and doesn’t have a very good home life and I know his parents might punish him for not dressing himself properly… number 2….i can’t think of any more right now..
3. It Probably seemed unfair to the students that are in uniform. However this particular child’s situation warrants an exception. And it’s a possibility that the other students would not wear a uniform the following day and expect the same outcome..not so
4. as a teacher you pick your battles..if it was for attention depending on the situation..ok lets say a student says “this is boring” just to get me to speak to him..I would I am sorry however this is important and move on..he got his few seconds of my time and we moved on wit out an outburst…if it was a health issue I am required to send him tho the nurse therefore he would be excluded..law requires I do nothing but send him to the nurse as far as medical issues are concerned..
5. I would and always do use differentiated instruction so I use technology, hands on experiences, charts graphs, music, videos anything that makes it fun and less like a lecture..I teach kindergarten so fun is a must!!!
I type this really fast and in a hurry so please excuse my mistakes…
