Why blow up an entire health care system most people like, is there an ulterior motive here?

CNN/Opinion Research:

* 74% of people are satisfied with their personal health insurance coverage.
* 83% of people are satisfied with their own health care.

Benefits Research Institute

* Fifty-eight percent of those with health insurance coverage are extremely or very satisfied with their current plan, and approximately one-third (30 percent) are somewhat satisfied

* 84% of people surveyed said the quality of their personal health insurance was either excellent or good.

Quinnipiac University:

* 85% of Americans are very or somewhat satisfied with their own health insurance plan.

The University of Texas/Zogby International:

* 84% of people are satisfied with their health care.

Less then 1% of all people are barred from insurance coverage by pre-existing conditions

Why the overreaching massive health care law that effects all people, instead of a targeted law that only effects the unhappy or uninsured?

i’m not against health care and health insurance reform, but, there’s also talk that there would be a requirement for each taxpayer wishing to participate, be asked and, indeed, forced to be issued a federal ID which will give the government or collectors for them, the capacity to issue automatic payments from our money accounts for service rendered?

i think clarity is needed for the seemingly pending “enslavement of the general population” in this country.

also, how has the concern for doctor shortages been addressed?

i think we’d all love to see fundamental changes that are needed in our health care system, and not completely rebuild it. i think we should build on the present system and keep the bits of it that seem to work well.

i hate to think of all the private sector insurance companies that profit on our health.
