Health Insurance For Students In Texas
What are some scholarships, grants, or financial aid for students who have or have had cancer?
My brother was diagnosed with ewing sarcoma when he was 15 and missed his sophmore junior and senior year due to difficulties with his disease. He did however graduate but since it was in his leg he has trouble getting around and at 22 he still lives at home with the family…he’s now attending the local community college but has already takin’ the extent of classes that he can and now needs to move on to a larger college [[possibly online courses]] to further his studies. He wants to be a radiologist. And now with my family paying a $450 dollar a month health insurance bill and sending me to college, we are far in debt and need some help in paying for his schooling. We live in texas and he wants to attend Texas Tech. So what are some good resource we can use to help pay for his college?
Its not in texas, but here is an article on ehow about a college that offers free tuition to low income students.
