If you were arrested for a felony could you still become a Health Information Technology (HIT)?
i was arrested for possession of marijuana last yr i completed a program for 3months and the case as then been dismissed with prejudice, does anyone in this field know if they would still grant me a license Please someone in this field that knows a little about this
You need to know exactly what dismissed with prejudice means. Sounds like that is your State’s way of saying deferred sentence. Depending on the State that may mean there is no record. You don’t need someone in HIT for this answer – I will sound harsh – but you will thank me – you were in court and don’t know if you have a felony. You accepted a deal and need to know how or even if it will appear on a background check. Take the IT and put it to good Internet search and research.
