Health History Assessment

All educated sports fans history buffs and more help needed!?
Please answer with detail.
Tenner identifies two unforseen consequences of sport technologies: paradoxes of risk and health, and the paradox of resisting technological change in sports. Define and describe these paradoxes, giving examples. Do you agree or disagree with his assessments?
In many sports, there are serious arguments about allowing any and all technological changes, while other sports are very concerned with limiting changes that change the ‘nature’ of the competition or the culture and legacies of the sport. In detail, describe examples of both kinds of thinking. There has been an argument that performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) should simply be considered another technology that athletes should be free to use. How would you argue for and against that position, based on Tenner’s framework?
Thanks everyone!
American Football has been arguably improved by ‘instant replay’; while Big League baseball prefers to allow Umpires to make the calls.
