pl tell me about ngo formation and its funding strategies including grants?

I am interested to form an NGO to take care of health of rural area people by providing there hospital/ dispensary.

Different countries have diffrent provisions for formation of ngos or social organisation. In India NGOs are registered under the Society Registration ACT, after submiting of the memorandum of organisation to be registered signed by its official members before the registrar of societies. Depending upon the geographical coverage of its work area and members of its body it can be a district level, state level or national level organisation.

NGOs recieve private, government and international funding depending upon the work done by them. Generally government funding is given only after seeing three years of activities of the organisation and its work progress. In exceptional cases of good performance district authority can recommend even earlier and fund the organisation. International organisation provide fund only after the recognisition of good work done by organisation. Funds can also be recieved by working with and for big or funding NGOs. Corporate world also assist and associates NGOs for social work.
