What’s the difference between raising a lot of kids versus raising a few?

I know that raising a large family successful is akin to running a large company with long term goals in mind but that it is common to assume that having a large family doesn’t necessarily grant one intelligent self actualizing children (because its nearly impossible to give the most and equal amount of attention to each and every child and that the good fight is the parent who strives to give as much positive attention to their kids as possible).

Although from experience with great grand parents (i’m a part-time home health aide) it seems like they have the social skills with their huge extended family akin to a captain of industry.

ps the client i am taking care of doesn’t live in the best of conditions but most of his filial (accept for a few bad apples) are getting by just fine…
how about the stress on a big CEO who doesn’t have a family of her own?

isn’t it comparable to a parent ‘successfully’ raising a large family?

The difference…in this day and time, probably a nervous breakdown. The expense alone would be crushing for most couples. Older children definitely have to care for the younger ones. Running a company is not a 24/7 happening, being a parent is. Being a CEO is a job and you can quit a job or retire one day. Being a parent is a lifelong commitment. Lifelong. You may not plan it that way, but your children do.
