What was the worst restaurant experience you had and what did you do about it?

I ask this question because I recently visited a Jimmy Johns franchise here in Chicago. Two hours after eating I got incredible sick. Fever vomiting and you know what comes after that. Anyway I contacted the manger at the store. He basically tried to play it off like it wasn’t them it had to be something I ate before consuming their food. I was pissed, so…I contacted my friend that works at the health department and they will being getting an inspection in a few days. That’s what you get for not taking care of your customer. HA!

Something like that happened with me. The waiter gave my friend who was allergic to shellfish, fish to eat (it was a tortilla so my friend couldn’t have figured out it fish beforehand) when he had ordered chicken. He ate it and he broke out in hives and he face swelled up.

We made a huge scene at the restaurant and we didn’t have to pay. However, the manager and waiter acted like it was our fault and they tried very hard to make us pay for it. But, we refused AND we made them bring what he originally had ordered.
