Should we spend the summer in BUFFALO, NY???? Help please!?

This is my and my boyfriend’s last free summer (he just finished his first year of med school and I will be transitioning to a new job leaving this summer open) We were thinking of either going to Europe (although it would be a little less feasable because of the costs) or accepting an offer of an internship he has on the East Coast-specifically Buffalo, NY.

So, what is there to do in Buffalo and what cities are fun to visit that are close by? Do you travel by bus, car, train, amtrak..? How hard would it be for me to get an internship or job just for the summer there? I just graduated last May and Ive got a lot of lab experience and a Physiology degree..Im interested in Public Health. Thanks so much!

hey there– i lived in buffalo for 9 years between college and work..summer is actually a great time in buffalo..
—most people travel by car
—the elmwood village area is agreat place to live for people your age–its the cool hip area of town
–bars are open til 4am if thats your thing–if not the elmwood area puts on many outdoor festivals during the summer
–toronto, canda is only about 90 miles away–i made many trips up there while in buffalo–and niagara falls is about 30 minutes away with traffic and US customs inspections

BUT, who could pass up europe for the summer?? if you have that kind of cash anyway
