Anyone have a career in health care administration?

I am currently in school to receive an associate degree in health care administration; I have an assignment that requires me to speak with someone in the medical field. Well I tried this at a local hospital and no one was willing to speak with me, so now I am looking for more resources. The reason I went to a hospital is because I want to eventually work in a hospital. I have a few questions I need answered, please if anyone is currently working in the medical field.
What are the educational requirements, licensing, or certification requirements for my profession?
What is the scope of my practice?
What are the primary responsibilities?
I have done research on health care administration and it can be a bit overwhelming with all of the information available, I just want some personal experience, I am getting near the end of classes and I want to immediately want to return to receive my bachelor’s degree. I would greatly appreciate any advice, thanks.

The medical environment holds a wealth of different careers from the obvious nurse and doctor careers to adminstrative careers. My sister wanted to work in this area, but she wasn’t sure perfectly what she wanted to do.
