The truth about what the founding fathers would say about socialized medicine?

We do not have socialized medicine for all Americans, unfortunately, but there is Medicare and Medicaid, plus the coverage enjoyed by Congressional Representatives (House and Senate) is government-run. The rest, including the “Obamacare” (Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2009, or PPACA) is for-profit, as in capitalist. Based on our Bill of Rights, however, my guess is that the founding fathers would consider health care a RIGHT and would prefer that all American citizens have coverage—we are, after all, guaranteed “LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” are we not?
