He wont eat grass, what else might he like?

My African Sulcata tortoise is the pickiest eater EVER! I cant get him to eat grass to save his life.
I know this is suppose to make up a large portion of his meal so what can I do? I don’t want him to start pyramiding.
Things he dose like
-Lettus
-Apples
-Watermelon
-Nature Zone Tortoise Bites
-Strawberry’s
(Note: he only gets fruit like once a week)
His diet isnt much, what can I try to give him that he will like and his health will benefit from?

He’s got the worst diet a sulcata can have long term right now, and if you continue, he will pyramid right before your eyes. You’re going to have to slowly change his diet, use the stuff you have now and add weeds and hays to the lettuce. Once he starts taking in the weeds and hays then take the lettuce away completely and substitute dandelions, kale, collard, turnip greens added to the weeds and hays. Any hay is OK except Alfalfa, too much protein in Alfalfa, use Timothy, Orchard or Oat hays. Until you get him on this diet everyday, please don’t give him any fruits what so ever. It’s OK if you feed him every other day, he won’t starve, though I know it’ll be hard on you. Keep him on the grazing grass as much as possible, he’s a grazer and he will start but he’s got to be hungry, again I say, he won’t starve if you don’t feed him every day. My guy was stubborn as can be when I first introduced that into his diet, he refused to eat, but every day that’s what I fed him, I guess it was about a month into this new diet watching him pick through to get what he liked and getting in a few pieces of hay every now and then, I noticed there was still a pile of hay left and I watched him munch away, it was worth the worry and the wait. My guy now is 7-8 years old and weighs 60#’s all on graze, weeds and hay.
