Ultrasound only shows one arm..?

I had my ultrasound done at 20 weeks. Then I moved out of state when I found a new Doctor they got my 20 week ultrasound report and found out they could not see every thing. I just went in for my second ultrasound and they could still not see the baby’s left arm. I am now 31 weeks along and this is my 4th baby. Now I have to go in for a 3d ultrasound.. They say she s very health and everything looks great just that one arm.. They say she may not have one, they just don’t know. In the past I have had babies that were laying wrong, but in two ultrasounds now? They say it could be amniotic band syndrome. Has any one had a baby that would not lay right for two ultrasounds? She was awake and moving for both.

I had 2 ultrasounds. The first one the baby wasn’t laying properly and they scheduled a second to check on some internal organs and what-not. But both ultrasounds indicated that my baby was a girl (though, not clearly). I gave bith to a little boy. Granted a penis is smaller than an arm and therefore easier to miss, but ultrasounds aren’t always crystal clear.

If your baby does only have one arm. I wish you the best and highly recommend reading the book One Handed Catch. It’s about an 11-year-old that loses his hand to a meat-grinder and how he overcomes all the struggles that come his way. It’s fictional but based on some true events. Fantastic book! I just finished reading it.
