Is my health class messed up?

Ok so in health we are on the drug and alcohol unit. I write an AMAZING paper on Spice and she says that alcohol in small amounts is- now these are her words- “perfectly safe” but weed in small amounts is “very dangerous”. She also said that weed had more cancer causing toxins than cigarettes do. The funny thing is that I just did a summary on an article on how stress caused cancer in mice to spread rapidly yet weed is a stress relieving substance so that is kind of oxymoronic if the same thing that causes cancer relives stress. Note, I’m not talking about how someone with an addiction is calmed down by what they’re addicted to, I’m talking about how weed actually helps in soothing stress. I also know that weed and shrooms are the two least dangerous drugs yet alcohol is more dangerous “drug” when compared.
By stress causing Cancer I meant that in deed it does and because weed helps with decreasing stress it shouldn’t also cause it.

weed leads to short term cancer

and stress over many many years can “probably” lead to cancer
