is there any sites with mental health tests?

not like fun games and quizzes a proper online test thing coz i think there might be summat up wi me and dunt waana go to docs. thanks.

There are plenty of “tests” out there, however none of them is accurate. They are based off of how you interpret your symptoms.

For one example “racing thoughts” are an indication of bipolar mania. However all it will ask is do you have racing thoughts. Do you know what really qualifies as racing thoughts and what does not? You may think you know, and you may think you have racing thoughts, when you really don’t. You just do not understand the severity necessary to qualify as a symptom of an illness. You need to tell a Dr about your symptoms so that they can dig into what they really are. Is what you are calling racing thoughts really racing thoughts, and so on. A Psychiatrist is trained to interpret what the symptoms and diagnostic criteria really are, where you are not.

This is one bipolar “test” for example. Look at it and look how many of the questions could be answered in the affirmative just from teen hormones, or someone that drinks too much caffeine, or other such things. And how do you know what is “just a little” and “quite a lot” That is the Drs job to know and understand that.

And anyway, even if it were accurate to diagnose a problem, what good will it do you to diagnose yourself if you are not going to see a Dr to seek treatment?
