Debating on becoming a part-time college student. Health insurance? Could I get on medicaid or something?

Ok, so my parents’ insurance plan (Aetna) is like most others: If you are over 18, you have to show proof of full-time college attendance in order to stay on their insurance. Right now I have so much going on in my life (pregnant, the stress from my dad and controlling boyfriend) and I really want to attend school part-time. I have a part-time job, but it is barely a job! Once a week 6-8 hours, if I even get that. I also might move into the dorms at school. If there was no way to stay on my parents’ insurance, do you think I would qualify for some free type? Medicaid or something of the sort? I’m lost and the school counselor is booked. I need help. Thank you!
P.S – I will hopefully be giving this baby up for adoption because after reviewing my situation, that would be the absolute best for the baby.. Just wanted to add that detail incase it makes a difference to anyone’s answer.

Until the US gets universal healthcare, which is why we need Hiliary so BAD!, your best bet is attend college full time so that you can stay on your parents’ health insurance. However, there are some part-time jobs that will allow you to buy into their healthcare plan, so you might look into those employers. Your other option is a Health Insurance Account (HSA), which is a like medical-savings account that you buy into which gives you an affordable, high-deductible health insurance plan. Many insurance carriers have those so check out Einsurance.com for quotes. Forget Medicaid unless you are either disabled or have children, but since you are pregnant, check with your state health department after you deliver to see if you will quality based on your income.
