Applied Health Science Degree Jobs

I either want to become a health care adminstrator or a industrial/ organizational psychologist. What u think?

I fear that if I have a Business degree I would not be able to find a job. So I am thinking about doing nursing for a little while/

I won’t be able to find a job so I am thinking an Associate Degree of nursing may be the best for me. ALso, the Associate degree is an applied science degree.

I am thinking I could then get a Bachelor’s degree in Business and later get an MBA with an emphasis in Health Care Administration.

BUT, I have currently declared a psychology major. I would want to work in I/O Psychology.
I am employed as a statistical assistant but only have a 3.2 gpa so I am not thinking I will get into ANY I/O programs. Or will I?

So I am considering health Care Management or Industrial Psychology.

What would you recommend? Keep in mind, I am only of average intelligence.

A 3.2 GPA is VERY close to the 3.5 you will need for graduate school. The best advice I can give is…go to class, get to know your professors, participate in class and let them see you are SERIOUS about your education. That is what I did. I am bright, but I am a terrible test taker—I get very anxious. Because I know this about myself, I got to know my professors. Thus, I was able to do extra credit, write a paper here and there, etc. to make sure I got good grades in my classes. I graduated under grad with a 3.78, and maintain a 3.65 in graduate school, while pursuing a dual degree. You can do it….:)
