Can someone recommend affordable health insurance?
I lost my job. COBRA is too expensive.
Are there any high deductible plans? I really only want coverage in the event of a serious illness.
I live in NJ.
NJ is a “guaranteed issue” state – health insurance there is very heavily regulated. Because they are required to insure anyone who asks, no matter how bad their health is, rates are just HIGH. The state regulates it so heavily, that the coverage plans are standardized.
