Accredited Health Administration Programs
Health Care Administrator in the Army Medical Department?
I am currently enrolledd in the Masters of Health Care Administration program at Pfeiffer University. They are nationally accredited but the program is not accredited by the Commission on AccreditationHealth caree Management Education (CAHME). I know that in order to enlist in this field in the Navy you must complete a program that is fully accredited. The only problem with this is that only two schools are accredited in North Carolina. I am a non-traditional student being that I work full time and go to school at night. The two schools that are accredited are for full time students that are able to attend during the day. I am hoping that my degree will be recognized by the Army and that I will be able join in my field. If anyone has any knowledge of this particular issue please let me know. Thank you.
The Fort Hood Army psychiatrist, criminal nut, obviously completed the necessary courses and was a successful medical practitioner.
It would probably be important to talk to a military recruiter before starting any classes, hopefully they can give you factual information.
